Zambian coffees range from Kenya-like brightness, to more subtle, balanced coffees with complexity and body. When we have Zambia coffee to offer, it has clearly passed our test for cup quality. Distinct from other African origins, Zambia coffees are from larger farms, not small-holder coops. Coffee came here in the 1950s, later here than other African coffee-growing nations. Originally planted with Bourbon, Catimor was introduced later, and now most coffees will have both varieties.
